Need to stay in Dublin city for 2 nights at the end of the month, have an appointment in the Blackrock Clinic, is the Ballsbridge area near there? dont really know Dublin aside from the main shopping streets and the O2/Jurys docklands area, anyone got any suggestions for hotels around there? was looking at the D4 but there's some very dodgy reviews online

D4 hotels are fine if you get a good price.

Note to self, stop using tripadvisor.com to rate hotels, the reviews on there would put you off going anywhere, i checked a few hotels i stayed in myself and loved and people would pick on the smallest things, of the D4 hotels which one is the nicest? the Berkeley?

    Try Irelandhotels.com - they're not too bad.

Bewley's beside the RDS is fantastic value. No leisure centre though.

    What is your price range?
Hampton hotel is nice. Has an offer for 89 euros.

D4 hotels is the one particularly midweek. The earlier you book the better you will do. 10-15 minutes on the bus from there. You could actually walk it if the day was good (it's about 3miles straight out the road

Same group as the Montrose which shut last week so no guarantee that Tara towers will be open at the end of the month
