Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone tell me if it would be a bad idea castrating young bull calves round the 5 -6 months old in this cold snap?

They are in a slatted shed currently.

    Thanks!

Shouldn't be any harm. i usually give them a shot of penicillen to prevent swelling, but its your own choice.

I don't think the cold will be a factor to worry about. Personally, I'd prefer them to be out or on clean straw rather than on slats. No harm to have them done for Blackleg beforehand either .
