Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A long shot I know, but any recommendations to cheap (or cheapest possible!) accom on Phi Phi? Preferably Long Beach. Not too fussed so long as it's in a good location. Thanks, Phi Phi is the backpackers' wallet-muncher!!!

There is one place on Long Beach - afraid I can't remember the name but it's the only one that's about 300THB (I think?) per night. There are only a handful of places to stay over there anyway so you should be able to find it within 10 mins if you just get a boat over. It's pretty basic but you get what you pay for! Long beach is great during the day but you'd probably want to head to the main village at night.

EDIT: I found that there isn't much on Phi Phi in the way of budget accommodation but there's a lot of good value mid-range (I mean 600-800THB/night) places with A/C to be found.

Years since I stayed there (summer 05) but check out Valentine Bungalows, they were super cheap back then as I remember. Basic but grand and not too far a walk from Hippies bar.
