No hot water in kitchen / Airlock ?

    Hi all,
    Just wondering if anybody can advise me on a little problem.

    I went to use the hot tap in the kitchen a while ago , nothing came out . I tried all the other hot taps in the house, all worked fine but the downstairs batroom hot tap spluttered a little , it sounded like air coming out with the hot water . The spluttering stopped after a minute or so , and now the water is flowing fine .

    House setup-
    Upstairs
    Main bathroom has bath with mixertap/telephone shower attachment ,sink and toilet.
    En-suite with triton electric shower, sink and toilet.

    Downstairs
    toilet with sink
    Kitchen sink with hot / cold mixer tap.

    The kitchen cold tap is fed direct from the mains water supply.

    All hot taps are fed direct from the immersion tank .

    The house has gas boiler and central heating.

    The main water tank is flowing well / not frozen .

    Every other tap is working perfectly and all toilets are flushing and refilling properly but the kitchen hot tap is not working .

    I have left the hot tap open for the last hour , but still no water.
    Can anyone help ?
