Here's one for all the knowledgeable plumbers on the site......

This afternoon, I had steaming hot water (from the hot tank) in both mu downstairs toilet and utiity room, but not from the kitchen sink 3 metres away (not a drop coming out !)

Now this evening, I have cold water in my downstairs toilet and kitchen, but not in the utility so the machine washine cannot fill/operate !

All other taps/cisterns working fine, so riddle me this - what on earth could create such a crazy situation ??
