    Yes, good. If only it would stay like that! Should mean that showers that move off the sea will be snow.

    Just had a light snow/graupel shower here.

    Looking at the satellite progression up to now, those showers are definitely going to grow. The band approaching Dublin/Meath is a bit thin but the heights of those clouds on IR are growing taller. There is also a smaller cluster developing over Dundalk Bay that will give some flurries to mid Louth.

    Its snowing in Cork wooppeee :D About time too! Light at the moment so not sure if it'll stay. Am glad i'm snuggled up in bed with cup of tea and hot water bottle (getting over swine flu :eek: icky!!)

    i never thought i see snowfall at this steady rate from an easterly. it must be very heavy in the east.

    indeed. what a great surprise! i just love when we get snow unawares. on a futher note, is it just me or do we seem to get the most snowfall when it's not really expected?

    Clear skies here Temp 0.7c DP -1.3c. Had a few flakes of snow earlier this morning but was nothing really. Will just have to wait for tomorrow now and hope for the best.

    Light snow here. Beautiful sight. still calm. flakes just floating to ground slowly. Everything still frozen over. minues 3 c here
