Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Time for a gratuitous snow pic.

Road to Ashford, this was ploughed and gritted and then it snowed again today.

Nothing yet but sky gone pink... where abouts in the town are you ?? We had no water this am.. Left it running 20 min & eventually exploded into the sink.. Thank Fcku !

In Enniskerry, just near the village. I'm hoping that burst pipe will be the only one. The upside is the dog will have his own private ice rink by morning...

Can see city centre covered by a snow shower from my attic. Also looks like NE shower will hit Blanch maybe. The cloud base seems quite high so they are surprisingly visible in the gloom.

WEATHER ALERT heavy ppn developing in the Irish Sea and heading for the Dublin area.I wouldn't drive anywhere this evening.

Evelyn Cusack on the 6.00PM Radio Broadcast saying that they expect precipitation to fall as snow pretty much everywhere tomorrow apart from Eastern coastal fringes, where it may be sleet because of strong Easterly breezes warming temperatures to 3C..

Expecting widespread accumulations of 5CM to 10CM.

I hope you put your family in the car and then drove the car onto the lake... even 1 inch is thick enough to support a family of 10 and a smallish dog...

Or so I read on broads.ie

Just makes you want to hop on a quadbike or a horse and go gallivanting around for the craic like doesnt it?

If I can ask a stupid question, how far inland is deemed on the fringe? That pic of the UK was amazing in that it looked like almost total coverage including coastal areas..
