Evelyn Cusack on the 6.00PM Radio Broadcast saying that they expect precipitation to fall as snow pretty much everywhere tomorrow apart from Eastern coastal fringes, where it may be sleet because of strong Easterly breezes warming temperatures to 3C..

Expecting widespread accumulations of 5CM to 10CM.

    SA :)

Sky is clearing out in the west again for a bitterly cold night, with occasional snow showers later.. Expecting a frigid morning, and after 11-12 tomorrow: SNOW :D

I hope you put your family in the car and then drove the car onto the lake... even 1 inch is thick enough to support a family of 10 and a smallish dog...

Or so I read on broads.ie

Just makes you want to hop on a quadbike or a horse and go gallivanting around for the craic like doesnt it?

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

having just watched the Arsenal v Everton game, where it was snowing heavily in a stiff breeze, i hope places at lower levels over here see snow like that for a while.

If I can ask a stupid question, how far inland is deemed on the fringe? That pic of the UK was amazing in that it looked like almost total coverage including coastal areas..
