    lots of lovely white snow here in Kimmage too. Starting to give a good cover too. oh the excitement of it all:D here's hoping it carrys on for a while too!!!!!

    Temperature in Baltinglass (which has had really low temps last few nights) on NRA website is only -4.9c tonight:confused:

    precipitation properly. if it's very cold it usually means no snow. so in order to get really low temperatures, like we had last night, you need a cloudless sky.

    Snowing moderately here in Lucan. Nice big flakes. We already have all the snow that has fallen since New Year's Eve so everything is covered. It's beautiful, apart from the treachorous roads and limited bus service!

    temp has gone from -8c to -5.5c very quickly in the last hour.

    is this also due to the showers coming over.
    and does that mean there will be more chance of snow at a temp closer to Zero.
