Look at what sky are forecasting for Tuesday - the whole country is under constant precipitation, the big question is whether that will fall as snow or freezing rain?

I dont think we'll see much more than a dustings worth, hope im wrong tho, plenty of snow to our south and north, were just really unlucky to have the isle of man blocking our snow showers. we need the wind to swing more south-east to get rid of this annoying problem.

how odd your not to far from blanch  and its like a mini blizzard here atm, hope you get your share

Thanks for the offer but took a snow day before christmas... so im guessing another wouldn't be appreciated.
seriously is it worth it? they will have forgotten about it in a few weeks, and you'll have forgotten the snow too if you go into work.

Total non-weather-knowledgable person here - we are getting snowed out of it here in Dub 7 today, is this the Sunday night/Monday morning snow arrived early or what? Or is that still to happen?
So that where Terenures missing snow went. It took a wrong turn on the Quays - or maybe the wrong bus.

The display for Tuesday is being overstated & overhyped. It will not be as exceptional as indicated. At the moment, there is a low risk of it being as exceptional as indicated. Marginality will be more influential.

Regarding tonight, NWP Guidance absolutely failed to pick up on these streamer developments that are depositng considerable amounts of snowfall in many parts of the East at the moment.

    SA :)

Tonight will be very cold as temperatures fall to between minus 2 and minus 8. However, coastal areas will retain temperatures of plus 1 or 2 degrees. Mainly dry but wintry showers of sleet and snow will continue in eastern parts

Think this is more than wintry showers................................

Showers well scattered in the east, with most places dry.

Then snow tomorrow, max 5-10cm of snow.
