We're you watching the Arsenal game earlier?

Yup, there should have been more probably.

    6 substitutions @ 30 secs a sub = 3 minutes

Denilson was on the deck for at least 4 or 5 minutes between when Neville clattered him and he collapsed.

Almunia, Traore and Vaughan were on the deck for another two minutes which never got added on.

So yeah, 5 minutes seems right

If you add up all the stoppages in this game 6 minutes would be fair.
I don't understand this "Fergie Time" BS.
It's hardly benifiting United today is it?

Why don't they just stop the clock to fúck and as soon as it goes out after 45 or 90, blow it up? Prolly makes too much sense!!!

    Rule number 2345

All future Premier League games involving Manchester United will be 96 minutes long....

    That's it 12 matches unbeaten.

Best to salute Brum I think.

    Shockingly poor.

Birmingham had the ball for the entire 6 minutes injury time which is a bit lol.

    game over. 1-1. Take it.

    ok bye

    Count the Fergies

    Pathetic:mad:
Fergie needs to take responsibility for that shambles of a team.

A point was a good result for Utd today. Birmingham could easily have had the win if they were willing to push forward late on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Very poor performance. That's how poor we are without Berbatov btw, incase anyone doesnt realise his importance to the United team now.

If it's possible, possible, that Fergie is telling the truth that there is money to spend (which there probably is a little), if he cant see he needs to dip into the transfer market for a creative spark he seems to have utterly lost it.

Well why is it only ONE manager who moans about extra time again, and again and again and seems to be able to bully refs into giving more extra time than is needed.

anyways, 1-1, fair result i think Birmingham played well but utd had them on the ropes in the 1st half up until the goal.

6 minutes is riduclous alright. Can only assume between the red card and rowing after the goal that's where some of it came from

But seriously the commentator emphatically suggesting Fergie "got his way" to change the time?? Sure if that's the case why not ask for, and get, 10 or whatever you want.

No problem hearing it on a forum or in the pub, it is funny banter material alright but the commentator banging on about it.

its not Utd's fault if other teams cant take advantage of extra time.... last time i checked a game of football is between two teams ???

WHY THE HELL WOULD FERGIE WANT 6 MINUTES EXTRA TIME ,

    Down to Ten men
Drawing 1-1 against the top form team in the league.
    Away from home.

Maybe just maybe fergie was given out about the amount of time

    well maybe.....

    What's the point you're making.
In the 6 minutes United played with 10 men, Birmingham were all over United and probably could have won the game.
It's all a big pro United conspiracy I suppose.

United were very poor in that second half with the exception of Evra who had a great game imo.

I've a nickname for that new United striker already. The Ghost, he appeared on the sideline but wasn't seen afterwards.:pac:

The Liverpool fans will be smirking quietly and hoping for a win with their game in hand to close that gap even further. Villa fans won't know what to think, they love to see Birmingham get spanked but it leaves them closer to Arsenal and United. Spurs fans will be delighted.

My point is that did the commentator seriously think Fergie can actually got the time he wanted?

Its ridiculous, if he could he'd ask for more. I'd be more inclined to agree with Rockman, he was probably giving out about the 6!

Do you actually worry about that sort of thing.
The only time it's worked in our favour was against City.
Officials dont go around adding time on to please certain managers of teams you don't like.
United were sh1t today and didn't deserve a win, they got 6 minutes added time and didn't even have the ball for 1 minute of that time.

Dominating a match at the home ground of one of the most inform teams with the best defence in the league without a good few key players and getting a point out of it is garbage?

    lol wat

Utd won 1 - 1, I'd imagine Ferguson is delighted with that result. As for the performance though...different story.

What is browne's disiplinary record like?

Have to say I thought the ref did a good job let the goal stand correctly and thought if Fletcher didn't have a card already any other ref would have given him a yello so fair play for being consistent.

Good job birmingham great job done

The goal was a goal, correct decision from the referee in the end.
