I don't think the goalie, two centrebacks and a striker who barely got a game are much to do with how poor our midfield is tbh.

Really? So you don't think that having a robust defence that can look after itself dictates the formation or mentality of the midfielders and the instructions given to them before the game?

Even assuming that's true, which it's not, we're not missing one player. We've spent the vast majority of the season playing without 4/5 of our strongest 11 from the last couple of seasons. Not 1 of the strongest 11, almost half.
