Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Impressed with that Everton team.

Arsenal don't look like a title winning team, not even close to one tbh.

That goal took forever to go in. I was up by the telly blowing it into the net :D

lol was thinking the same thing.dirty tackle there by sagna

What the fuck was Traore at. Everton definitely should have put it out after Denilson collapsed. The other way round and people would be up in arms about it.
    Why? There wasn't a foul

ah FFS, wheels have come off Arsenals title challenge according to setanta

Another Arsenal player injured - absolutely incredible how many injuries we get, especially in midfield. No doubt out for the next six to eight months.

Everton have scored on the break.

    Who could have predicted that?

    Well me.....sortof;):p

Looks like 3 big points for Everton and a bad result for Arsenal.

Mystic Meg over here!! Either Arsenal will score or Everton will score on the break or from a set piece. That covers almost all scenarios!!:D

Great challenge from Sagna, real obvious intent to injure.

If there was a foul the ref would blow and stop the game and then nobody would ever have to put the ball out. There is never a foul when the ball is put out as a gesture.

"Gallas looks like he's a sulk coming on again" :D

    Traore is having a STINKER.

He could have had a heart attack but they wouldn't put it out because there wasn't a foul?

Considering there is only 3/4 games on this weekend in the league, this has been a very good one to watch imo.

    What did he say?

He spent about 2 or 3 minutes blabbing on while Denilson was being strapped up about how Arsenal should have expected Everton to play on.... didn't even seem to occur to him that Denilson's injury might be genuine.

What happened to Denilson? He just stopped as if it was like an internal injury. Worrying. To be honest, that's one of the few situations where I think a player should put out the ball. It wasnt the result of a tackle, he was in possession, no real danger, nothing happened, and he fell over.

Indeed, player on the ball, no one near him, goes down clutching his chest/side. Someone should kick the ****ing head of the referee in for not spotting that, reminded me of Puerta, was sh*tting myself for a few minutes there.

Anybody notice that Denilson went down holding the same side that Neville creamed him on earlier in the half. would a smack to the Kidney bring somebody down like that?
    P.S I hate Lou Macari.

It's certainly a good tough game. Great 2nd Everton goal. Very well taken.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want Everton to win.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,604 ✭✭✭Kev_ps3

I knew at 2-1 to Everton with 10 mins to go Arsenal had more of a chance to win it then Everton. Pathetic.

Almunia just loves a good **** up.

Great determination to make the comeback from Arsenal, but still points dropped which is great to see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

2-2 probably a fair result in the end.
