Been living in Portlaoise for over two years now, probably about time I got involved in a bit of sport. Does anyone know anyone or have any contact details for Portlaoise GAA club? Now I wouldn't be looking to play senior or anything like that, but surely as the only club in a fairly large town they'd have an intermediate or junior team that I could kick around with. I have dropped by the clubhouse a few times recently, but no one was about, it being the off season and all.

Head up to the clubhouse on any Thursday night and a lot of members will be there.Their will be be lads involved over some of the teams and they will give you details of when training is back on at whatever level you fancy.Senior are still training form last year but rest of players from lower levels will be back training a bit soon enough.
