Fibromyalgia treatment.

    Recently I've been trying treatments more invasive than the usual regimen of drugs. I've had a series of nerve block procedures under general anesthetic. They haven't been effective however and my next course of action is occipital neuromodulation.

    It's difficult to find statistics on how effective this treatment is for chronic pain. The organisation in the link has claimed by phone that 95% of their fms patients gain relief but they couldn't be specific about that in terms of the level of relief etc. I know some people in Ireland have had the treatment locally and if any of you catch this thread I'd love to hear how you got on.
