im currently in 6th year and hoping for around 560 points for veterinary. anyway even though im working alot harder this year compared to last year the chances of me getting those points are slim to none!

i have 9 subjects 3 pass (irish, maths and french) and 6 honours (geo, biology, chemistry, Ag science, business and English)

anyway sorry for dragging on but my questions are

1.Can i drop my 3 pass subjects next year (if i get the minimum grade requirements)
    2. can i use my Ag science and Geography projects from this year, next year?

    thanks!:)

Yes you can carry entry requirements for veterinary -it's only medicine you can't do that for.
And no, you can't use lasts years projects (well you definitely can't for geography at least, and I'd be very surprised if you could reuse the ag science one).

Officially you can't. I'm sure many people do though, as I can't see how they could check it's an original project.

just remember if you do have to repeat you wont be able to repeat in the same school as you origionally done your LC as far as i know you have to go to a specialised school for it which covers the overal course in 1yr, in dublin one that i know of is oliver plunketts at white hall

oh and for the likes of english it will mean repeating a new course, as in novels, poetry and plays

I meant that you can't use the exact project booklet you handed in last year.

lolwut? Where did you hear that? Plenty of people (possibly most people) repeat at unspecialised schools.

    .
The content's supposed to be different also though.

Your teacher has to sign a legally binding document saying the project is your own unaided work and that it has not been submitted to the SEC before.

Well the content is going to be different anyway, for something like geography; you're doing the field study again so even if you have the same topic, your results will be different and you have to account for these differences.

That's just your own school's policy. It can be easier for people to repeat in a different school.
