This is a tricky one. I'd say in a battle of the mind Prof X would have it, but once round 1 isn't decisive you've got Gandalf with a big ol' sword and lots of magical powers that can do damage.
I reckon Gandalf has enough mental skills to prevent Prof X doing a one hit wonder and they're both known for their stamina in matters of the mind.

I have to give this one to Gandalf, he could probably cast something to shield his mind and then beat Xavier upside the head. Close one though.
