Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys. Was just driving home in the blizzard currently raging in Dublin. Turning corner on main road at 15kph. Hit a pot hole (i think) and car slid and rear wheel hit kerb. REALLY annoyed because I was being careful.

There is a massive 4 - 5 inch chunk missing from my rear rim. Can this be repaired? I'm asking here in advance rather than waiting til monday to phone around. I bought them from wheelbase on ebay but they don't have the alloy type listed anymore and they are less than 12 months old. E46 AC Shnitzer replicas. Advice?

Lad, the wheels are the most important part of the car, if it's that bad then buy a new wheel, or a new set. Wheel repair is mainly for cosmetic defects, not structural damage

Got the wheel repaired in alloy repair in bray. they are in the solus tower industrial estate. cost €140. good job. wheel is safe and beautiful. sorry it took so long to report back.
