Does anyone know of any decent hills to bring the kids sledging around Navan or Johnstown.

We knocked great craic of a a small hill in our estate today but wouldn't mind finding somewhere a bit safer i.e. no estate road at the bottom of the hill

Went to the Hill of Tara :D

Fantastic day, must have been 100+ people up there sledging on everything from tarpaulin to car bonnets, bin lids, bags, their knees and bums.

Great day out and thoroughly recommended the next time we get good snow

Told ya. Good to hear you had a smashing time. :)

I spent a good bit of my childhood around the Tara area. Love it.

It was magic, cheers for the heads up!!

I'm from Scotland and when I was growing up we'd get great snow like this every year. That's 2 years in a row now so hopefully it'll continue next year.
