Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Big thaw , south Dublin ... The end is near !

+1, slushy and slippy, lumps of wet melted snow falling off roofs, cars etc.. Bushes and trees green again.

The tiny little flecks of snow are actually leaving a covering here in Cork. Footpaths, roads and cars covered. Didnt think they had it in them!

Just getting slightly heavier now - always great when it snows during the day time.

Having sporadic bursts of hail as the thaw continues.

Id say with some decent precpititation temps would drop abit but dont hold much hope.

The scene here last night was so amazing, pity it wasnt during the day, just looks cold and miserable out there now.

Hmm, running the radar sequence it seems that precip to the south is not going to go any further north, rather just slide away SW. So near yet so far!

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Persistent light snow now in cork, quickly covering everything.
Not sure what's wrong in dublin, must be the onshore wind

Well I am very happy to see everyone getting there fair share of snow, all you southies have been waiting, but jesus it has changed fast up in Dublin went to bed at 3am and snow was 4in deep but at this rate it will be gone by the end of the day.

But what really surprises me is that Met E made a call on thur which I found strange as they are normally careful not to make snow warnings till the day before, Met E ramping, but all said and done I hope it upgrades and we all get a week off
    :D
