10-01-2010 3:22pm#1potterton suprima 50 boiler problems,boiler10years old, pcb replaced 5/6years ago,old problems started reapairing 6 months ago every plumber i talk to said its the pcb again!!!!! i dont think so turned off power to boiler yesterday opened side panel housing pcb while checking for loose connections,HT LEAD fell off otherwise known as electrode lead refitted same with better connection until i get new better upgrade HTcable,hasnt gone to shutdown yet coming up to 2 days snowing outside boiler was running on timer over night.problem solved new HTlead £3.85plus vat+post far cry from 280.00 plus 50 euro fitting charge or in some cases 500 euro plus servicing boiler this is what nextdoor paid????half weeks wages for any plumber.
