    Hi there,

A question for the painters out there.........
Before x-mas I bought some "Johnstones Premium Contract Matt" paint which I was going to partly dilute and put up as a base coat on the interior walls of our new house (Skimmed walls).
Anyway I had planned to do the painting over the x-mas and left the paint in the house which has no heating on yet. Obviously I could not do any painting due to the low temps but I'm wondering is the paint OK.
It was left for a few days in the new house with temps outside of around -6. I have since brought it to the house we are renting to keep it a bit warmer.
    What do you think???

It should be fine once you bring it back to normal temp for a few days. But if still in doubt phone the paint manufacturers Johnstons there on the Naas rd.

Do you think the place you bought it from would have a shaker machine. This might get the stuff all mixed up again. Paint probably has a much lower freezing point than water. I'd say it'd be ok.

I'll double check it with the suppliers (why didn't I think of that???) but you have put my mind at rest.

    Thanks
