    so they gave him a 50 euro voucher and an apology for no reason what so ever! unless the op made the entire story up think ill believe him also!

    It's clear that the OP got a voucher and apology from M&S for a product which *probably* didn't cause the stomach upset.

    Personally, I'm not keen on this. It encourages people to seek refunds from M&S, for which M&S may not actually be liable. It's essentially taking advantage of M&S' excellent customer service.
