    All,

Robocop has nothing on the bouncers in the court. Silly the way they go on letting all the women in and vetting all the guys in this day and age its not good enough... some might call it discrimination.. Also some of the bar staff in there are dam right rude.

Now i haven't been one to be rash but the 3 times I have went there 3 things have happened
    1. got grilled at the door
    2. seen some on locked out of there mind getting sick in the corner of the pub ( and i get stopped going in!!!!)
    3. Seen a fight

The pub would be nice if they dropped the attitude. I am so pissed off at this place always puts me in a bad mood... But there is not much options in Naas

I am all on for supporting local business BUT DONT GO TO THE COURT (in my opinion)

Has anyone else experienced this ??????

Oh yeah. Numerous times I've been stopped at the gates by aggro headed bouncers, actually its usually the same one, gotten grilled and told not tonight, no shirt or shoes. I'd be wearing jeans and a jacket, that would have gotten me into anywhere else.

I know the Court is aimed at an older target group, but who's to say that said older people can't wear jeans(I'm talking 25-30). The one time I got in was when I was wearing a suit, but I felt uncomfortable the whole night because I was wearing it.

Other than that it is actually a decent place.

its serious there was a guy waring cat boots ...he was asked by the bouncer if they where steel toe (which they weren't ...the bouncer then decided to stand on this boots to prove him wrong... i total know what your talking about....that kind of agro puts me in a bad mood for the rest of the night

door men like that will bring a bar to its knees.
standing on a lads feet.

Note to self. never go near that bar. spend money elsewhere.

    they lose;)

Worse door staff I've ever experienced in a lifetime of socialising. Wouldn't classify the bar staff as being rude, merely not very good at their job. But that is the case with bar staff all over the country on a more regular basis. No excuse for the door staff though, pathetic on almost every level.

its so fustrating because of the lack of options in naas !!!

is there anywhere else in newbridge that would be better or any other town around the area

You don't like TIME I guess. Nothing wrong with that, I'm finding its getting very samey.

I wouldn't suggest anywhere in NB. There is Swifts, but it is a hole. The dance floor is tiny and constantly sticky, the carpets everywhere else in the place are constantly wet and sticky. Bad pints. Wouldn't be surprised if they watered down the drinks aswel.

After that I can't think of anywhere else in the area.

Yeah Court is a disgrace. Bouncers so obnoxious!! On a major power trip every night. Also, rip off paying 15 to get in the door. They had it down to tenner but put it back up over Xmas.
The whole 'upstairs is open' thing and turning off music, closing bar downstairs for about 20 mins drives me crazy!!
Pity theres no competition in Naas, Time too young.

Time is okay if you scuttered .... I think naas needs a wheelan's or something along those lines .. A laid back place where it can be a laugh and no agro on the door ... Recessionary times i dont think there will be many places opening...Kildare being the richest county in Ireland rent and building prices have not dropped but the margins have
