F1 Silverstone - Public Transport

    I will be going to this years GP in Silverstone on the Friday and Sunday. Does anybody know what the public transport to the circuit is like like it looks pretty bad for the Friday .. might rent a car from Birmingham Airport or Luton instead

    When I was there in 2008 I got an F1 shuttle bus from Northampton Train Station....if you can get the train to Northampton from wherever you fly into, the F1 shuttle bus will go straight to the circuit.

    The shuttle I was on went through the little village of Silverstone - lovely village.
