Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

in the the CC too, & i have to stop peering out the window as it looks suspiciously like i'm doing absolutely nothing! :D

We should do a snow dance, all of us Dub CC based Boards weather freaks lol

Franco - its threatening, it keeps starting and stopping. But if its snowing heavy southwards (D16), its heading this way with the winds.

I've just heard its snowing in stepaside too.

seriously though at this rate with the milder weather at the weekend that could be a possibility. i hope there will be no one foolish enough to go climbing it over the weekend

The mountain resue had to get the helicopter up there a few times in the last week Nacho... mostly unprepared and unfit tourists who think because there is a well trodden path it is fine and that the cold won't get to them. :(

Starting to fizzle off now here.

Yeah, same here. Looked very promising earlier, but just didn't quite get there. Nearly stopped, and didn't settle.

what are the chance of the precip turning back to rain or are we likely to see continution of what we have now thru till 2mor? If the latter, we are in for it!

You shouldn't really ask! :pac: So hard for anybody to tell at this stage!

Wet snow trying to turn into proper snow now (big fluufy flakes coming through in bursts).

I can only imagine what the Reek is like now. Must be monstrous up there at the moment. Anyone would be well advised to stay clear of climbing it over the next week.

It's very wet looking snow here in Sandyford. It's starting to stick to cars and remaining white. No stickage on the ground, however. Far too wet. I predict a miserable commute home, but probably not as much of a marathon as last week's.
