Irish players mid term report

Came across this this morning. A mid term report on how are irish players are doing abroad.
of what i have seen think Stephen Ward if played in right position could do well but got a pasting at left back recently against Liverpool.
Stephen Ireland always gives a lot to his a lot to his team, well documented what I think about Andy Reid (will be returning to that later when Irish squad is announced) Stephen Hunt a real terrior on the pitch, want to see more of Fahey before making a decision but was a great player for pats and hope one day McShane just takes five seconds to breath in and out and not panic whenever the ball lands near him.
Anyway let the debate begin

The above two have been outstanding this season and sadly the only real ones.

Damien Duff has been excellent. Hunt has looked decent, sometimes excellent, in a poor team. Doyle has done well too.

sorry that was what reporter confined the players to. Would take too much time to run the eye over every single player tbh

Anybody hear the news that Simon Cox from WBA wants to declare for Ireland cos Trap was chasing him?

In the rightback stakes, Kelly is starting to get a run of games at Fulham with Paintsil out injured. Any time I've seen him at Craven Cottage he's looking great going forward but from a defensive POV, his positioning looks pretty suspect.

Carr's having an awesome season at Birmingham but probably not worth getting him back for the Euro 2012 campaign.

Hopefully Foley can kick on and improve. How's he being doing since he came back from injury?


Do we have any decent upcoming LB candidates in Ireland / UK that we should be keeping an eye on?
