Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone remember when they bought the league? it only cost them £17m remember the outrage?
What would 17m be in todays money.

Just another word on the Hughes debate, you have to wonder now if we had moved for Mancini at the start of the season the results against Bolton, Hull, Burnley, Fulham & Wigan could have been a whole lot different. I don't believe we would have conceded half those goals.

Sloppy slop slop of a goal to give away. Sloppier than a rather sloppy poo I made earlier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

I thought Pederson had a second there good work by city defense

What a difference a goal can make, Blackburn finally creating stuff, would be nice if they could keep a clean sheet for the rest of this half.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 850 ✭✭✭Instant Karma

City definitely lost a bit of spark since Bellamy went off alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,519 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Yeah Bellamy who made a lot of noise about Sparky going is giving everything down the left. But Blackburn very poor.

    Whats the logic there?

Bellamy should be criticised for playing well since the new man took over?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 850 ✭✭✭Instant Karma

Robinho can be infuriating at times, how did he not see he was offside there, he was looking across the whole line. Definite goal had he not strayed.

No but if a player is unhappy about his former manager going Mancini might feel Bellamy would feel aggrieved having to play under a new one. Like i said he has played well tonight although not sure why he got upset about being taken off. Mancini has to keep his squad players happy

Santa Cruz should have squared that ball for Tevez to score certain goal.

Fantastic from Tevez, knew he was going to score when he shaped it up,

fair play to him, what a signing.

Think we will have to introduce a 2 minute delay on posting goal updates so as not to spoil it for sopcast viewers :D

Gonna be gas seeing the deluded United fans still maintain Berbatov is a better player. Tevez has been simply electric tonight.

Of we win our game in hand we'll be only three points behind United.

Defending though was poor. You expect defenders to close down a bit. But taking nothing away from the quality of the strikes. Tevez a real pro.

    Carlitos Way.
Week of the small Argentine hat tricks with Messi and Tevez........that's all really!

There is no doubting Blackburn were a shambles but you can only beat what is in front of you. Liverpool would probably have made hard work of getting the 3 points tonight so you have give credit where credit is due.

Yes game between the two should be a cracker. February 21 at 3pm. You play chelsea six days later followed by Spurs at home.

    Great performance from Tevez.

I'm pretty sure it can be talked about sans United, because the arguing about the problems with Tevez would take away from his utterly outstanding performance tonight.

Those two games in february and game with Spurs at beginning in march will tell us a lot more. Cant see us being that charitable to be honest but that discussion for another day. Well done tevez.

Not a hope of it. They will slip up a few times similar to the way Arsenal did last year. Methinks you are getting carried away.

I wouldn't go that far, but top 4 should definitely be the aim, especially with Liverpool in dire straights.
