Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all
first and foremost i am not a computer wizz at all so i hope this makes sense
basically i have 2 mac laptops- 1. macbook and 2.i book g4, which never gave any trouble until today.
the macbook will not start up when i turn it on- just shows flashing apple on screen. i tried a few things like holding down x,shift button after pressing power button and calling apple but no solution.
helpful lady in apple explained that i need to get firewire cable and hook up macbook(laptop with problem) to working laptop(ibook) and that basically the ibook will make the macbook all better :)
i have been trying buy firewire cable on line but it shows all these sizes like 4 pin to 6 pin etc,.
how do i find out what pin firewire cable i need?
any help would be great as i have college essay in and all my stuff on macbook:(
