All over. Barca players were losing it towards the end. Henry should have got a red for that tackle, Messi getting involved when he shouldn't. Til the final whistle I was expecting them to score.

Well its finally happened.

After 16 months of football Barca have finally been knocked out of a competition.

I really thought they were going to get there. They gave it one hell of a shot but perfection is unattainable. Bit sick now but there is so much left to play for this season and their attitude is brilliant.

It may be a blessing in disguise Barca go knocked out tonight.

There seemed to have been more and more pressure put on them as the season has progressed, to emulate last season. And it was affecting their performances for the worse (IMO). Maybe now that they have lost, they can settle down and start playing close to the standard they were at last season.

The second half performance last night was sublime. Brilliant football played and never really lost their heads or got impatient.

Few random thoughts

- Pity Busquets cannot play like he did last night more consistently. Thought he was excellent.

- Puyol was absolutely superb. His reading of the game is second to none in world football.

- The ref did his best for Barca.

- Henry was abysmal. Should have been subbed at 60 at the latest.

- Xavis quietest game in years.

- I hope Valdez continues injury free and does not get stupidly sent off. Pinto would worry anyone.

- Iniesta is great.

He's like Riquelme but with alot more pace & a good work ethic.
