BMW E36 Warning lights

    Folks i was taking off from a stand still this evening on some slushy ice and the back wheels gave a quick spin.. but now the ASC and ABS lights are on and wont go off.. i have turned the ignition off and on again and they are still there..

    Any suggestions??

    Try disconneting the car battery for an hour or two. Then retrying.
    Its a common enough fault at the moment. Two BMW drivers
    on recently with the same problem.

    Thanks for the reply but this wouldnt have sorted it..

    Turns out the wheel sensor was covered in slush and dirt... spray of the hose and a quick spin and its sorted itself out..
