    Hi, heading up north to buy a car tomorrow. Its 3k and just wondering does anyone know if a bank would have this much or even if they would have 1500 and i could get it in two different banks.

    They probably would, but they may ask for ID (bank card for your own bank, photo ID for other banks) for those amounts.

    Are you happy paying cash? Are you happy you aren't being set up to be mugged?

    Yea dont mind paying cash and im orginally from the north and I know the dealer im getting it off

    Most banks would have a good supply of sterling. Keep going until you get the full amount. Make sure you get a new set of mats thrown in :p
