Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I will be spending the month of February in and around the Doonbeg area. (Hope it warms up a bit by then)

Where might I find WiFi available? Or, are there Internet cafes? Perhaps a library with Internet access?

I did a WiFi search and didn't find much in West Clare.

There is an internet café in Kilrush, and a library in Kilkee.
Several accommodations in and around Doonbeg offer Wi-Fi. Ask locally if there is a public place in the village to use the internet. Sometimes pubs have internet access, don't know though about Doonbeg.

Hi GrandPa, most of the solutions around will tie you in for a 12 month contract or will have setup cost involved, I would recommend getting a pre-paid internet dongle for 1 of the mobile providers (o2, Vodafone, Meteor or Three) and using that for the month, give it back when your leaving

Thanks for the replies and the suggestions.

A pub with WiFi? Now that would be the best of both worlds!
