Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of a late bloomer to the car world as i am 24, 25 at the end of February. I'm looking for a cheap runabout 1500 euro or so and obviously i will be under a family members insurance for the near future. Can any of you point me in the right direction car-wise, and maybe a ballpark figure of what i'll be paying for the insurance in a 1.3 or under ? Your help would be much appreciated, Thank you......PS, does the named driver have to get insured on the car i buy ?

It's hard to guess what your insurance will be, it'd be best to ring around to be honest, get out the phonebook and ring every broker/insurance company you can think of.
As for cars, maybe a fiesta 1.25 (not the 1.3), a yaris, micra etc.
