Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    WHAT A SCREAMER!!!!!!!!!! :p

Thank goodness for that. Not a great first half at all!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Been a funny half in a way. Liverpool have had the lion share of possession and have pressed the game, but I think it is fair to say that despite all that, they could have just as easily have been two down as they are one up now.

I have a feeling though that the goal right at the death will knock the wind out of Reading.

Am I right in thinking that the away goals rule doesn't apply tonight?

That only applies in two legged games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,329 ✭✭✭wcarey1975

It's a replay of one off game not a tie over two legs there are no away goals.

Edit : BVC beat me to it

Where did you get those odds? I backed the 1-1 draw @ 15.5 on betfair before kick off.

    Paddy Power.

Had a bit left in my account from the horses today so just put a tenner on the 1-1 draw and a bit on Barca to qualify tonight at 6/4. My betfair account is empty. :(

For some reason, i forgot it was a replay, not a two legged affair. Crisis over.

No, that it is not, I wonder if he is injured or Rafa has decided with the games coming up that he is done for this one.

    Hamstring twinge, precautionary.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,082 ✭✭✭✭Spiritoftheseventies

    Chance for babel to shine.

    tweaked hamstring.

What the fcuk is wrong our two main men and injuries. Very frustrating.

Hopefully the last game Babel plays for Liverpool, we need to cash in on him now before it's too late. Any offers over £10m and I'll personally bite their hands off.

Either that or he pulls the thumb out and starts playing some decent 'ball.

Ref thinks he is the star, tooting the whistle away, then says "Not on my watch". Legend

    Embarrassed for Degen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Degan has shown some great pace tonight. Bit silly the way he let himself down for the yellow, but he has been pretty good tonight.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,312 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Classic refereeing " .... not on my watch!"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,082 ✭✭✭✭Spiritoftheseventies

silly yellow for Degan there. Having done the hard part before that.
