Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

me too, he's got a great eye for a pass.

The physical side to his game needs much improvement but that will come with time.

my big worry now is that aquilani doesn't have 90min in him and we see Spearing on instead of Pacheco

That he si, some nice touches around the box, looks like he and Aquilani are on the same wavelength too.

Someone has to be criticised ! The Lucas era appears to be over.

    Harsh free kick that.

Awful free from Aquilani, did not even get it above the walls waists... The follow up was not bad though.

Sell Gerrard & Torres to f^^k , we havent played this well in a long time!

With the extra pace of Degan, and the smart fast passing of Yossi, and Aquilani, and a willing partner in N'Gog, he must think he can play like he does for Holland.

A faster tempo always suits him, rather than our normal ponderous build up.

i don't know - i think he's had one of his poorer games tonight . . . the campaign could be reborn!

Good to see that some of the lesser names are stepping up their game and playing more freely this half.

Agreed, he has that ability to find space for himself, the passing will come as he adjusts to the Premiership.

    Kwality.

A little reminder from Reading that they are still in it for as long as it stays 1-0

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,082 ✭✭✭✭Spiritoftheseventies

a bit dodgy at the back though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

this game is again showing how fragile our confidence is and how little self-belief we have - at 0-0 we are tense, slow and full of panic. at 1-0 we have better tempo, movement and pace to our play

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,263 ✭✭✭yom 1

that was the warning sign that we need a second

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Babel even trying to get stuck in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

We have defo become a lot more freeflowing with Gerrard having the ball played through him.

Thats were Kenwynne Jones would have come in handy. He would have stuck that cross away.

I think my eyes are playing tricks on me because it looks to me like Kuyt is getting tired

Did you see it? Aquilani had an arm across his face as he headed it. would have been nice to see him score it mind, maybe a little harder with his face through the arm.

Beglin on about how Babel has not attacked the full back and gotten to the byline since coming on

I take it Jim has not noticed where Babel is playing on the pitch tonight.
