    For all you Astronomy heads!

    Anyone that has a phone with an Android O/S, this app from Google is fantastic. I've been trying it out on my HTC Hero and can't get enough of it:

    Google SkyMap

    Just point your phone at the sky & what you see is then replicated on the phone using the built in accelerometer/compass/GPS. It tells you the name off all visible stars/planets/constellations etc.

    You can also do a search on your phone (e.g for Mars) & the phone with then direct you to the point in the sky where Mars is located..

    Thought it might be useful for some of you...

    Highly recommended.
