No, if Mysterio loses he joins Straight Edge Society.

I tried ordering this from NTL and they're having problems (shock horror). Said to be a big demand for it.

Are the matches actually starting at midnight? I thought PPVs usually start at 1am so I just assumed the midnight start just meant an extra preview show or something.

It's a four hour show so the matches do indeed begin at midnight.

Ah my now annual once off WWE show. Gone be the days when I saw every Raw and Smackdown.

Looking through the card. I am not overly inspired by it although it's better than last years effort.
I guess the last match will be Cena and Batista with Cena wining back his title. I don't expect much of that as I've never been fond of either of their wrestling skills or characters. Of course SuperCena will do it again just like he always does.

I am not sure how Taker and Michaels will top last year. I doubt it will happen but hey even if it's half as good it still should be fantastic. I don't think there is a chance in hell Taker loses it.

Brett vs Vince. Is it wrong that I am more excited by the intro than I am by the match? This will be fun to watch. Vince always delivers in these type of matches as he knows how to give the people what they want. I'd wonder how much Bret can do but I am sure it will be entertaining.

So Edge is a face now. That's slightly disappointing. I always enjoyed his work as a heel. The whole doing what it takes to win no matter what angle was always enjoyable to watch. His cashing in of the Money in the bank and dethroning Cena a few years back still ranks as 1 of my favourite WWE moments but I do really despise Cena.... I never really took Jericho seriously as an champion; the title match at WM18 vs Trips was terrible. Hopefully he has come on as I have to admit I can't remember the last time I saw the guy wrestle. I guess Edge will win this.

The other matches don't interest me tbh. Obviously I will be cheering on Sheamus but we all know who will win and I don't expect the match to be any good. The money in the bank gets ever more stale year on year. I'm pretty certain this is the only reason they keep Shelton, just to do his usual stuff in this.

The stadium in Arizona is awesome btw. This will be the best venue that Wrestlemania has used so it should look absolutely amazing.

In relation to streams I watched WM 25 on a stream and recall it being pretty good. Like others have said if you can get a Sopcast stream absolutely go for it. Justin.tv is getting ever more unreliable.

Going to start my own build up by watching Taker/HBK from last year again. Haven't watched it since I saw it live so I'm very interested to see how it hold up without the drama of being live.

Anyone reckon Meltzer will dish out any 5 star ratings tonight? Punk/Rey, Edge/Jericho and of course HBK/Michaels should be very good matches.

He gave the last Shawn/Taker match 43/4* so I really doubt it

Should get people in the mood for Brets in ring return!

I dunno, there's that added emotion with HBK's career on the line plus the result is in a lot more doubt than it was last year making the near falls that little bit more interesting.

He rates matches on their technical greatness. A Misawa match may not have had an arena erupting but it would still be given 5 st\ars if it was a perfect match.

A single botch will deny a 5 star rating

    For me, crowds make matches.

JR really helps makes matches too. Really stood out how important he is hearing him again from last year after going without him so long. God, I hope he's working tonight :(

Every original-ECW match would have been 5 stars in that case. I'm not saying your wrong because I do agree with you but that's just not things are done.

That's the theory but I've seen matches where he's given 5 stars and there have been botches.

I personally think he could be more generous with his ratings for WWE matches. Has he actually awarded one since the Bret Hart/Austin match?

just had too order this over the phone because i couldn't do it with the remote. that lady said that you can't record it if i went and ordered .

Well obviously not entirely, but I believe that no matter how great a match is, it can't be considered a classic without a great crowd. Look at Rock vs. Hogan at WM 18, as a match on it's own it was only decent but it was a classic WM match because of the crowd.

Anyone know how much this costs on UPC?

Might order it as I want to see it and WWE are generally good at shutting down streams, especially for big PPVs.

    I think it's €21.95.

Taker/Shawn HIAC was a bit later and got 5 stars I think?

Ah, good to know, right decision imo. I had heard that it was Cena vs Batista but if it's coming from JR, it's basically coming from the horses mouth

Yeah you're right. Forgot about the HIAC match.

Good to hear Michaels/Taker is on last if JR is to be believed. Can't see either title match having as much crowd involvement as that.

taker/michaels deserves to be on last if michaels is retiring. And he must be now, if that is the case.
Bit surprised tho, i woulda though Vince would see that at kinda undermining the WWE championship belt imo.

ffs, sky are still using the same exchange rates that they introduced over 10 years ago back when the sterling was actually around 1.5 of the euro/punt.

SKY IT'S 1.1 NOW. TIME FOR A CHANGE.

Lads if anyone has Satellite and a linux receiver then Wrestlemania is advertised on Sport ro 1W.

Not sure if it will be PPV but its still worth a shot. I will report back if its on.

We should consider ourselves lucky, DirectTV in the USA are charging $64.95 for the show in HD which is completely ludicrous.

Is Bret able to work out after his stroke?

In his first week back he looked in decent shape and since then he has hid himslef under jackets and hockey shirts. Any chance he has able to hit the gym hard since and has hid his progress?

I really hope they give Rey v Punk plenty of time.

I'm really looking forward to the show now. The line up is very good, there is a nice mix within each match.

I disagree with that, his first week back he looked out of shape. After that was an improvment.

I hate that annoying couple of hours before a PPV where you run out of things to pass time and you're just waiting. I really can't wait for this show. You know the way they say that WM 17 was the peak of the attitude era, I firmly believe this show'll be the peak of the Edge, Cena, Orton, Batista era. I've built it up so much in my head that if it doesn't deliver I'll actually be devastated though looking at the card I firmly believe it will deliver.

I have the PPV channel now on NTL. Looks like they worked through their difficulties. This is NTL though so maybe I shouldn't celebrate until I've watched the thing.

So for a guy that suffered a stroke and at one stage couldn't walk you don't think Bret looked in DECENT shape?

I'm with you on the wrecked but can't wait. I had to have a nap today. I will have to do some press ups or something to avoid tiredness during the show.

Good luck with the stream finding.
