Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dry hair for men.

Hi, feel kind of weird here asking this here as this is probably more of a 'girls problem' but I am a guy with dry hair and am wondering is there anything I can do to make it less dry and frizz like. I always keep my hair short as when it grows long it just goes all over the place and I do not have straight hair. However I can still mange to give it a bit of style at a short enough length with some product but without product my hair is so dry. Even if I condition it, it will still dry out after about an hour. Is there anything I can use such as specialist men's hair care products that would make my hair it less dry and more straight?

I've straight hair but its really dry, soft and loose but it isn't short by guys standards so end up looking like a light bulb as it tends to puff out. I don't know if it would be useful to yourself but have you tried clay? It smells nice and seems to take that itchiness off dry hair. Boots have a two for five euro deal going at the moment on Shockwave products and they have a matt clay in their lineup.
I'm saying this as someone who doesn't like gel, spray, cream or dax wax. Some other waxes are okay but they are more appropriate for short hair.

I know nothing about making hair straighter though. How curly is it exactly?

I don't know if this is a manly enough solution, but have you tried the L'Oreal Elvive shampoo/conditioner? The white one with the royal jelly in it is great, leaves my hair frizz-free...

Ha, don't worry it wouldn't be my first time to buy a woman's conditioner on the sly:D, I will give this a go but I usually find that my hair is easiest to style when it is washed once with small amount of shampoo after there has been product in it already from the day before. Conditioning it seems to make it go very soft and it is harder to style but I know it is good for the hair.

Dev, I have been using wax product for the last few years and have tried other stuff along the way but the wax seemed to work best for hold. I must try clay though as I have heard it can be good. My hair actually isn't curly but it is kind of bushy and flat. I have been told I have good hair by people who have cut it as it is blonde and healthy but it drives me nuts how hard it can be to just style it. It tends to all stick together instead of growing in individual strands and if it flattens quite naturally. It doesn't always hold its style in other words as I like to style it choppy.

Its weird because like everyone some days it works really well and I actually like my hair i.e, good hair day. Its just a pitty that I have way more bad hair days than good. Although I am probably stressing as people most likely wouldn't even notice it as my hair is quite short but me being the big girl I am, it bothers me.
