Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was just wondering if anyone else has tried any of the lacura skincare range from aldi. I am always trying skincare products out as I have such problematic skin and have tried lots of different moisturizers. I was actually really surprised though at the lacura oily/combination moisturizer, I think its really good. It doesn't sit on your skin, it seems to really sink in.
I'm just thinking is it my skin thats just after improving. this cream is less than 4€ so i cant help but be surprised that it would be good:confused: considering some of the other more expensive brands that i've tried and have not been so great!

That cream was all over the papers and magazines a while ago.

I've used the day cream and I think it's lovely

yeah it was my mother who told me about it after she read about them somewhere. i just cant believe the value:D you wouldn't believe the amount of different brands i've gone through. was gonna try their cleansers but they didn't have any left:(
I tried the nail varnish from there as well but its fairly crap, chips really easy

The cream is meant to be good but here's a personal warning - don't buy the touche eclat copycat concealer. It is CRAP. Doesn't sink into the skin properly so it's really obvious you have something painted on under your eyes.

They had a facial foaming wash awhile back that was bloody brilliant..removed eye makeup the lot. Wish id stocked up as i havent seen it in about 6mths. Got an "olive oil" type replacement thats just as nice.

I honestly think (dont shoot me) that any product ..shampoo,shower gel, facial wash that says on you for less than 20 seconds isnt worth paying dear for and Lidl/Aldi stuff is grand for this kind of thing.

Hair conditioner/face moisturiser/foundation...different kettle of cod though.

ooh i love the touche eclat copy concealer, i mix a dot of moisturiser with it and works as a fab foundation for me. I dont usually use foundation as its not usually my thing. Their moisturiser that the post is about was put up against some products that are available in brown thomas, a mid range priced one, olay or something and the aldi one was voted as best. I used it, its nice. I actually found their hairdye good. I used the red one. It came out bright red with a hint of orange undertones(which is the colour i actually wanted) but have not seen it in ages.

I bought some of the moisturiser the OP talked about to keep me going when my usual (expensive) Clarins one ran out. I never went back to clarins.

It evened out my skintone, the redness I usually had after a shower was much diminished, I'm less likely to have little spots, and it does a better job in keeping my skin moisturised.

Was at the beauticians awhile ago and they are really selling the decleor products but am really struggling with the 60€ price tag vs 4€ for the aldi stuff which seems to be just fine!

    QFT

same thing happened to me, ran out of clairns, didnt have the money to buy a new tubs and grab the aldi cream to tide me over - have never gone back to clairns.

they also used to do 3 tubs of body butter for 2.99e, i have seen it in a while but it is brilliant, i have dry skin on my legs and this stuff is amazing, it sinks in within seconds, smells divine and leaves your skin feeling amazing.

    high five Aldi :)
