I know you want to push it but DS has no real stroy to be frank!

P4 for me, dragged at places but I thought it got really good in the last third. You do actually want to solve the case.

Demon's soul hasn't got much of a story but I like the way the dead bodies and other enviromental details tell their own story subtley.

    Persona 4
Uncharted 2 (not for the originality of the story, but for the way it is told with energy and enthusiasm - which unfortunately is all to rare in contemporary video games)
    Spider: Secret of Bryce Manor

(Also think Demon's Souls is pushing it here - if there was an atmosphere / virtual world award, hell yes. But story, as in something that has narrative resonance and rich characters and themes (a general sense of loneliness / isolation - handled superbly mind - is about all there is)? That I'm not so sure about - check out Spider or Flower for much more interesting pieces of 'environmental storytelling'!).
