    Reported to BCC

    (Boards.ie Complaints Commission)

On Thursday the 18th Feburary I made a remark about JonathanAnon which was stupid and caused offence to his family.

I have written to JonathanAnon to apologise unreservedly and I extend my apologies to his family.

    Thank you.

That grovelling enough for you Jon?biggrin.gif

Excuse my ignorance, which animal does this refer to?

i pass hundreds of his posters on the way to work every day and every time i think he has a frog-like quality.
i considered going with murine (rat) but that belongs to the rat in the anorak, scurrying up drainpipes in drumcondra as we speak.

Whatever happened to Jennifer Garner (Neutrogena ad)?

Last time I saw her was in a rotten Ricky Gervais Movie,'The Invention of Lying.'

Hope Neutrogena are looking after her.

Anyone know what TV3 is doing for count day next Saturday?

  • Registered Users Posts: 458 ✭✭Craebear

And remember folks that Tonight with Vincent Browne will be running on fridays up until the election at 23:25 just after the Late Late show. It will be a more relaxed type of show and I think you will enjoy it.

Think it's Vinny on from 3pm - 5.30pm, then the news @ 5.30. And then Vinny is back on later that night around 11pm for an hour or so.

Think he said himself his 'take home' pay is €54K when challenged on the show by old droopy dog himself, Pat Carey.

I've wondered to myself was this inclusive of his newspaper hackery as well as his TV work...

He spent more time taking issue with questions than attempting to answer them.
The irony that the difficulty of the questions was directly proportional to the amount of fail him and his party are was lost on him.
I suppose it was better than trying to answer the questions honestly...

Not wishing to sound melodramatic here, but in my view, Martin was a bloody disgrace.

From the get go it was clear FF's tactic was "right, let's not give Vincent an inch here and contest everything". So what we got was the FF leader arguing against nearly every question; he was tetchy, defensive & arrogant, contesting and giving off about everything, all with an over-confident sneer in his voice.

As I said in this thread already, he acted with a sickening air of entitlement & contempt for an interview he couldn't control. He didn't just rally against the questions, but when Vincent asked to read from reports showing up FF's bad decisions, Martin started making sarcastic comments and dismissals of Browne. It was a fairly disastrous affair, though no doubt FF will feel it was a moral victory against "de meeja"

Thanks - I thought they might go for the whole day with an election programme, but I suppose it's TV3 after all.

    It's up on their website.

    Michael Martin did very well.

    He answered all questions.

Far more informative than the Joan Burton/Joe Higgins Harrangaton.

But the TG4 was best debate so far IMO.

    Evening all.

Did Vinny just say that this was the most boring election since 2007?

It's the only election since then.
