"Joint Oireachtas Committee" should not be part of a 23-year-old's vocabulary. I'm sorry, it just shouldn't.

These independents were quite poor.. Poor speakers... Luke Ming Flanagan was much better on with Pat Kenny..

Why the fuk is Dukes putting his nose in this again... He wont win any favour with Enda for after Feb 25th, does he realise that he's gonna be the paymaster after that?

It's a common thing with past FGers to bad mouth the current stock. Never happens in FF.

True, no matter how baddly shafted they were. Strange thing, that.

To be fair to 22-year old Haskins, he has been the most sensible of the 8 candidates tonight. He at least acknowledged that the bailout deal can't be just torn-up for the sake of it & generally spoke well, avoiding too many clichés and the overly-parochial talk of the other candidates (Especially the Quinn Insurance shill they had on). I know nothing else about him, but at least he comes off as being enthusiastic, compared with Mr. 2-economics-degrees acting like a smug git.

"I have two degrees in economics" should not be part of anyone's vocabulary

Maybe he miscounted them, and actually only has one.

Well he is an Irish economist so that is highly likely.

I'm afraid to admit I'm one of the few delighted she's gone...

I think the whole twitter section is being gradually dropped.

It has rarely added much to the discussion.

"The independents have more know-how" - what a stupid, sweeping statement. Does Michael Healy-Rae have "know-how", for instance? Wouldn't know-how to find his own arse with both hands.

I didn't understand why Martin Mansergh was the gimp in this clip (other than he acts like one sometimes) would it not have made more sense to have someone from FG like Phil Hogan or something else responsible for press and communications to put a gag on Kenny??:confused::confused:

Evening all, I reckon Enda edged that debate tonight, but there wasn't much to inspire.

If McWilliams, Fintan O'Toole et al had launched their new movement and stood in this election, they would be cleaning up now.
