I did.. the lad looked like he was just out of prison, but he was certainly the sort of chap I would want going to re-"negotiate" our bailout deal in Europe..

My whole voting system was putting the one I disliked the least at the top, as opposed to me having a favourite party/politician.. FG and Heydon were the best on offer that day..

They could've took two if Heydon had a running mate IMO! Unfortunately, one of the Seans remains down there.

    Petrol prices going past 1.50.
Interest rates to go up possibly by 2-2.5% (?)
    Is there ANY good news?
Perfect Storm really doesn't adequately describe what's coming.

is Vinny exaggerating his eye thing at the end there, akin to Mario's take?

I thought that too.biggrin.gif Although maybe I'm noticing it more because of Mario.

one things for sure, the next two years and more will be pretty interesting - politically.

I think the new govt members are aware that the public aint as dumb as they've always been thought to be. (and in fairness - have actually acted - up til the recent election that is!)

so i do expect some promises of reform and otherwise to be delivered.

cos if it isn't' I think the aul collective back will finally shatter under the weight of that particular straw.

    A 'young' leader of 50?

Lol Vincent is on his favourite hobby horse, trolling FF'ers. Senators are easy game to vinnie anyways, don't know why they bothered putting her on at all. Why are the media even giving FF air time any more? Serious attitude problem on her behalf.

Lisa McDonald is in denial about the election, she thinks it's a temporary blip for the mighty FF.

Kathleen says its very obvious who will be in the cabinet.
Then its only obvious the Labour ministries.
Then only one of the ministries (Eamon Gilmore)
And says she doesnt know any other seat.

My point being.. why did she say its obvious who will be in the cabinet??

Well Labour have to get a few positions, the leader of the party is expected to have one, the negotiators are some of the most senior party members and will likely be rewarded for that fact, and she suggests that leaves one seat which is probably between rabbitte and burton from the sounds of things.
