How much more of Lowry's meanderings do we have to endure?

They are showing too much of his speech.

Who wants to hear Lowry(Andy Dufresne), put on Mick Wallace.

I don't know I like that they will allow people a proper insight into what was said, even if I don't like what's being said. Lowry is enjoying his last weeks as a free man I hope.

Shane Coleman is just rehashing the same points he made on the show last week about Moriarty, don't know why he is back on talking about the same subject.

He's gone for a matt look tonight and ditched the shiny suit.
More undermining of the findings in his Sindo piece last Sunday.

    Fair play to Fionnan Sheehan.

Isn't Shane Coleman just supporting his boss?

I had the pleasure of watching Bertie Ahern fall apart under questioning at the Mahon Tribunal a few years back.

It was fantastic, justified every penny spent on The Tribunals :)

I have read the 1st 10 pages of Lowery's statement and watched the piece on VB, wish there was some way to hear from Moriarity!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,564 ✭✭✭baldbear

Did they mention the £147k that went to Lowry through the isle of man? Or did they forget to mention it? Talk about conflict of interests on the VB show.

Think I read somwhere that Shane Coleman is a brother in law of former FF TD and Minister, Dermot Ahern.

I think I read somewhere that Enda Kenny is married to a Fianna Fail Woman.

Fionnuala is long gone from politics. She was FF press officer in the 80s.
As far as I remember Dermot Ahern was a minister for 15 years and a TD for nearly 20. And he decided not to run in he recent election.
So, comparing Fionnuala's marriage to Enda Kenny bears no comparison to the brother-in-law relationship of Coleman and Ahern.

Coleman is a pol commentator now for Newstalk radio, owned by DOB and the SINDO of which DOB is a main shareholder.
None of the INDO group national newspapers focussed on DOB rather they zoomed in on the criticism of Lowry.
That's why I don't read any of the ****e that emanates from either of those broadcasting and print organisations.

Coleman and Ahern as Brother's in-law doesn't make any difference, IMO. Look at Fionnan Sheehan who looked like an embattled FG TD, saying "we" when talking about "the" party.

However DOB has got of lightly but ML has also done well to get a 60min speech on the floor of the house. His speech was little different to that of Mr. O'Donahue when he resigned as Ceann Comhairle.

They all might as well jump around saying "It wasn't me".
