White collar, pink shirt, banana tie...he looks like neapolitan ice-cream.

Who whispered 'they're at funerals' in the wallace speech clip?!?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,387 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

anyone know who muttered that? ming?

Decent line up tonight. Don't think Doherty has been on before. Him and Vinnie might have a bit of a row. Elaine Byrne has been highly critical of Lowry so hopefully she puts Vinnie in his place if he dares carrying on slightly defending Lowry.

Pearse has been on a few times, they seem to get on well enough, most of the Adams jibes are generally laughed off

Think she's still on the front bench, they are trying to get her into the Seanad now.

I'd love to see Averil and Fionnan on together some time.

Just can't place them together. What do they see in each other?

Vincent got drawn off on a tangent again, about speaking etiquette in the Dáil... when the program is meant to be about Lowry.. disappointing.

good point by VB: people voting censure on Lowery having NOT read the report !!!

I'm very disappointed with Vincent Browne.
Don't think he was this adversarial last night with Coleman.

Does everyone from Donegal call 'the Dáil' 'the doll', or is just Pearse?

Does VB have a point here? I know he's the arch troll, but it seems like he's just arguing about something on the basis of a technicality. Sometimes it feels like he's happy to pick holes and counter everyone's position, but never offers any solution or viewpoint of his own.

He just openly admitted he hasn't read the report himself either, so why is he being this aggressive, other than for the sake of it?

Bit ironic that Vincent is purporting that all the Labour people will vote against Lowry having not read the full report, given that he is suppositioning himself that none of them has fully read the report.

Not impressed with Vincent atm, thought earlier that he was just playing devil's advocate but he seems to have gone much further than that now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,387 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

V man is angry. He doesnt really think that they are gonna read an entire 2,000 page report, does he?

Vinnie taking Elaine's question very personally. Oh sheeeet, she played the Haughey card! **** going to kick off now!
