Asked on LLS thread - why did MEW leave Newstalk?

I think it was just a short term contract - from listening to her on the last morning she seemed quite keen to come back (unless she was just being a consummate professional). I think they just ran out of cash.

I don't think a President Tommy Tiernan would be welcomed in Israel.

    That's her.

She looks much better on Television.

Margaret E Ward: financial journalist, business presenter for Newstalk, business columnist for the Irish Times (Platform, Cents and Nonsense), Money Editor for the Sunday Times, MD of Clear Ink.

    One of my meeja heroes.

Delectable, but the camera can play cruel tricks.

She's also looking at Tormey like he's some sort of highly strung wild animal.

Boring. They are all agreeing with each other. Except Vinb of course, but he'd fight with his own shadow.

Tonight's programme is a bit lifeless and uneventful. I wish the Dr. would lose the head a bit. Is that too much to ask??
