This wan was at that press conference with Rich Boy Barrett today talking about their flotilla ... I really dont understand why they give them so much attention.. We have our own troubles here we're trying to sort out..

So we shouldn't know what is going on outside this country?

Private investors are very slow if there is no money to be made. Digital Broadcasting being one very good example a system that they will happily use when fully rolled out.

But I believe in a much more balance society that allows for all of the things that Declan was spouting.

The moral of tonight's show is that extreme capitalism is dangerous and extreme socialism is dangerous. To think that we could've saved ourselves from listening to all that shyte for the past 45 minutes.

Boyd Barrett was elected to represent the people of his constituency, not to head up pet projects... He should resign his seat if he's gonna devote his time to something that has nothing to do with this country.. We had riots in Belfast last week, where a UVF gang attacked nationlist housing estates and neither Boyd Barrett nor VB did anything to help with that..

No it was elected to represent the Nation not his constituency, we have County Councilors for that.

But it is not untypical of our media to ignore UVF attacks.

Boyd Barrett has been a Middle East campaigner for years. That doesn't stop just because he's been elected a TD. I'm not quite sure what you expect VB to do about those Belfast riots?

Nial O'Dowd is out of the presidential race! I thought FF might go with him, but obviously not.

A bit too much like a Sociology tutorial tonight. Switched off and watched Mary Raftery on 'The Big Story' that I recorded earlier this week. Excellent documentary
But....but ...you could have missed some thing.

One night someone on the show will punch another and you will miss it.:)

Sam Smyth, Kevin Myers, Ger Colleran filled in for VB last year. And Sarah Carey, but I doubt she'll be back on our screens for another while. She needs some more decontamination. They should get that the Culture Shock presenter on Newstalk to do a few shows.

He has a background in journalism, so maybe? But there's rumours of him wanting to run in the Dublin West byelection.

Mary O'Rourke, on the other hand, is a media whore and will surely take them up on an offer of presenting.

Yeah, but who would shoot him? Allen's crowd or Ganley's?

bottle of whiskey and a revolver in a dark room. his favourite method!

In a right thinking society she would have served a couple of weeks in jail..However, with regard to the VB show, she was probably the most natural person who filled in for Vincent all the same.. Sam Smyth was painful, Ger Colleran, I just dont like, Myers was okay but no better..
