Higgins is too 'slick' for my liking.

Might vote for Somerville in DSE!

    Apologies for going off topic,

There's an ad on the front page of boards.ie which says
    Limit Dial to 100 seats

Assuming they mean 'Dáil', Would you not check the spelling before you spent good money on your advert?

Things are starting to move... It seems that four Ministers have resigned from the Cabinet tonight...

    Four ministers resign from Cabinet
Noel Dempsey, Dermot Ahern and Tony Killeen have joined Mary Harney in resigning from Cabinet.A spokesman for the Taoiseach confirmed this evening that he had received letters of resignation from the three. The ministers had already announced that they are not to contest the general election. Their letters are to be forwarded to the President who will formally accept the resignations. Their resignations bring the number of vacancies in the Cabinet to five.

If half the Cabinet resigns surely that means election.. Not much point in appointing new Ministers at this stage surely?

(apologies to ThisRegard who was right earlier)..

Of course there isn't but then again whats the point to this limp, out of touch government with zero mandate left??

This is purely be an exercise in raising the profile of some of the young bucks before the GE.

had it recorded - just watching it now.

that whole "tweet" segment with the eye candy is painful. they need to ditch that quickly.

every single night VB doesn't have a clue what to call it.
"how's things in the world of twit/tweet/twig/twittering/#vinb"

i've a new hash tag for him:

Unsurprisingly, an extended edition tonight. A 3 hour programme wouldnt be enough to cover the shennanigans of the past 24 hours.

Can't wait for Vincent's take on things...hope he was watching Cowen's shambolic performance on the 6-1 news. Shocking performance.

His freudian slip regarding the remaining "8 months" of the government cannot be ignored either. Seriously deluded.

Good work lads, thanks for that..

Is it too late to suggest this for Aine Kerr, who usually goes for the "sexy secretary" look..

I'd say Lenihan is gonna have a right few kicks at Cowen tonight..

Seem Tubridy has been speaking to the family tonight.. From his Twitter:
"Some talk from serious corners of another heave against Cowen tonight. Ministers being contacted by Backbenchers. Curiouser and curiouser.."

Wow, pretty impressive stuff there by DLB! Usually only someone with serious FF insider knowledge would be privy to...oh, wait.
