well...'she's off again' wasnt exactly respectful.

but yeah, joan losing it these last few weeks

Did he say that? I didn't hear that part :P
Where the fcuk did that come from?

I thought that Joan's comment was an offensive cheap shot, to imply that someone had a difficulty seeing women as equals, but of course I wasn't aware of what Joe said immediately before that.

I honestly think her performance here is up there with Biffo's Morning Ireland fiasco.

belittling Joe's European title too...I would have thought this would have been the worst time to belittle anything European in this country.

We cant even take a p*ss without their say so!

I like Simon Coveney. I find him to be one of the more straight talking and honest of the politicians..

Anytime I've heard him he seems to know fck all about what he's asked.
    And tonight proves that IMO.

put beside Joan Burton I'd even describe Joseph Goebbels as a reasonable kind of guy.

I always found him to be an incoherent rambling lightweight.

But compared to Joan Burton anyone would look good.

Even a Fianna Failer would be having a good night there tonight, they must be kicking themselves.

I agree she is a disgrace but can you imagine what the Dail would be like if 50% of the men were like Brian Cowen - enough said....

Yea, I'm voting him No.1. I'm less anamoured however with his running mates Clune and Buttimer.

I'll just have to decide who does most damage to Michael Martin's chances of getting re-elected...

well. i'd have to disagree on that- in terms of competence, she pulled big lenny up pretty spot on a few times.

but she has gone postal this last while, for sure

Probably mistook him for Andy Gray

Well she was talking non-stop (without saying an awful lot).
If a woman said "he's off again" if a male politician was shooting their mouth off, i wouldn't regard it as sexist.

    Gray is sickening incidentally.

Nope, she is back at it again.

I have voted Labour in the last few elections, national and local but Jaysus she is really making me think twice. She rambles on and talks utter $hite. i'd say Gilmore and co are getting sick into their hands.

lol.. She's having a go at the unions now.. She should have had a read of the Labour website before she came on....

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,939 ✭✭✭goat2

I think Joan Burton just might be the woman to lead our negotiations with the IMF. After half an hour they'll give us whatever we want #VinB
